"I received a flyer in the mail from Lighthouse Lighting earlier this summer and was drawn to the photos of the homes on the flyer. I immediately noted how artistic and professional the presentation of night lighting looked in photographs of other homes. After years of frustration with store bought landscape lighting systems, I decided to call the local Lighthouse Lighting franchise here in Columbus, Ohio for a free consultation.

The presentation of night lighting done after hours by Kim Hammond (co-owner) was once again professional and artistic. He showed me all of the available lights and demonstrated their individual capabilities on how my home and landscaping could be accentuated with nighttime lighting. At that point we began determining how many lights and of what type would be needed. A lighting plan was drawn up and a price determined. What was unique was the facts that the price was based on how many lights were to be installed, not on how long the project took. I liked this approach to pricing. I accepted the proposal immediately.

Light installation began within a few days. Work performed was once again professional and precise. My home has elaborate and detailed flower beds and landscaping. Attention to detail was given to each light placed and its surrounding landscaping. Literally no damage was noted to any flowers or to any existing landscaping. No landscape cables were exposed and you could not tell that Lighthouse Lights had just installed a complete set of landscape lights.

After the initial placement of the lights in the lighting diagram, a walk through was performed at night. At that point it was determined that a few of the lights needed to be moved and a few of the lights needed to be changed as far as their directional capability. There was no problem with Lighthouse Lights making these changes to my satisfaction.

I highly recommend Lighthouse Lighting for your landscape lighting needs. You get what you pay for and although the cost of the install was higher than expected, the result was better than expected. The quality of the light fixtures, their unique design and their lighting capability far outweighed the price. As far as handling problems after the fact, Lighthouse Lights handled each and every concern without any hassle or concern on their part. I was relieved at this approach and I do not see it much these days in other contractors I have hired to do other projects around my home.

Once again, hats off to Lighthouse Lights. Professional, attentive, and artistic. This sums up my general opinion of this fine company. I wish Kim Hammond and his crew at Lighthouse Lights the best of success in lighting homes in and around central Ohio. Someday I hope that one of their homes can be on the franchise flyer that they sent to me. Maybe it will be my home."
